b. doctor’s appointment. I have had too many of them the last few weeks! Playgroups have been a blessing, movie nights are marvelous and the pest control people have helped us (almost) get rid of the flock of mosquitoes in the backyard.

Matt has already tackled the lawn and debris removal from our yard this morning.
I’m inside doing household tasks, starting laundry and reading emails.
Haven’s slowly waking up.
Might take a walk to the farmer’s market, dry cleaners, post office and the coffee shop.
Other than that, we don’t really have much of an agenda today.

We are catching up on life.

I miss you guys. I miss being on earth. I promise to return back to home base, soon. But here’s this week’s TAGT.

Usually we have an anniversary party every year, but because July went out like a lion and August came in like a tornado, it didn’t happen. Which is a good thing because there was no preparation. And, we were both fine with that. But, we did manage to buy each other gifts this year and I have to admit, great minds think alike. While I was away with my family I told Matt he should go ahead and order us matching and come to find out he had already ordered me some. So, after nine years of marriage we are that old couple that reads each other minds and gets matching presents. Can you guess what we bought each other?

Last week I spent the week with my family, remembering my grandfather. There were lots of laughs, tears and around-the-clock eating. In a small town, when someone dies, the food starts pouring in. Chicken, chicken and more chicken. Fresh peaches. Honey Baked ham. Sweet tea. Pies. Cakes. Made with love. However, what non-food item was something we never thought of to bring, but all agreed was ingenious?
