Friday, December 18th, 2009This past weekend we went to a house concert where Adam Steffey and Kym Warner of The Greencards were on a Mandolin Sessions tour. We missed the potluck and jam session prior to the concert, but arrived right at showtime. Having never been to a house concert before, I didn’t know what to expect. The atmosphere was very laid back and we hung out in the wings with Haven. She seemed to enjoy herself, munching on Pringles and doing a little jig. I guess she knows good music when she hears it. I mean, how many times do you get to see a multiple Grammy award winner and nominee performing in someone’s living room? We did.

I’ve done peed my pants. We are going to a house concert for the Mandolin Sessions. A HOUSE concert. You can’t get much more intimate than that. I’m over the MOON excited to be going.
