For years people have thought I was crazy for going out of my way to avoid exposure to cigarette smoke. I am so sensitive that even a small whiff can set me off, resulting in itchy eyes and nagging headaches that won’t go away. I have even been told me that these symptoms were psychosomatic. Now there’s proof that I am not full of shit. The latest report from the Surgeon General backs me up. Let’s just hope this report is a catalyst for smoke free buildings and public areas for everyone. I’d love to be able to go dancing without having to deal with cigarette smoke!!!
Even without the report, you’re not crazy. The stuff is toxic, period. Louisiana just passed a no-smoking law and I can’t wait for it to go into effect… then Paul and I can truly enjoy a night of awesome music without coming home smelling like an ashtray.
